Electronic Trading Systems Development

This is an outstanding opportunity for an electronic trading systems developer to join the Bermuda-based headquarters of a highly successful privately owned investment management firm. The company manages a number of top performing offshore, long only global equity and specific country funds as well as absolute return funds and its dealing team operates on a 24 hour basis covering all major world markets.
As a senior member of the IT Trading System team, the primary function will be to design and develop proprietary electronic security trading systems for order, execution and risk management purposes. This will entail considerable liaison with the trading team to discuss requirements and specifications and the provision of ongoing support.

Candidates for this position must possess a number of years' experience in the development of financial markets' trading systems together with advanced object orientated programming skills. A knowledge of FIX Protocol would be desirable. An excellent academic record is essential together with a high level of numeracy, experience of algorithmic trading and a self motivated, team orientated approach.
